Private Lessons
- I have Provided instruction to drummers that have been featured on the covers of MODERN DRUMMER, DRUM MAGAZINE, ROLLING STONE, AP, and REVOLVER MAGAZINE.
- Former teacher for drummers of: SYSTEM OF A DOWN, STRUNG OUT, SLAYER, WHITE ZOMBIE, MINISTRY, JACKSON BROWN, GWEN STEFANI, ELAN, ANKLA, PRONG, & BUCKETHEAD.
- Well versed in: Pop/Commercial, Rock, Metal, Jazz, Latin, West African, Middle Eastern, and South American percussion instruments and adaptation of rhythms to drum kit. Experienced in worldwide touring and performances on 40+ internationally released CD’s. Some songs receiving millions of plays on the web. With professionalism reflected in ability, showmanship, look, gear/endorsements and attitude. I help the student provide a solid foundation and new life to their music.
The going rate is $40 per hour for lessons at one of the stores, or $50 at your home (depending on drive and my availability). Generally lessons are for a 1/2 hour a week at a store, $20 per lesson. Or, an hour at your home or my studio. For home lessons I do hour minimums. (Depending on schedule and circumstances, I sometimes can be flexible at the Covina studio location) I teach in stores in San Dimas on Wednesday, and in Rancho Cucamonga on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Other days I’m open to your home, or at my private studio in Covina.
